Isn't it kind of sad that Valentine's day has been so over-hyped that people would rather have a single, probably rather insincere media-led gesture than something real, meaningful and lasting?
Possibly. I'm sure that's true for a lot of people, however I have many friends in long-term loving relationships who have Valentine's celebrations that are incredibly sincere. On the other hand I have been in long-term relationships that lacked any kind of sincerity at any time of the year.
You have assumed when I said great sex and great kissing that it was with one, long-term lasting partner. I would like to consider - just once - swapping that great sex and great kissing for one of those sincere Valentine's nights, for the romance.
