So you know that car bomb in Piccadilly on Thursday night? I only found out about it through my parents texting me from Australia, asking me if I was anywhere near it (I wasn't, though it was RIGHT OUTSIDE my friend Leda's work).

Actual text from my mum this morning:

"Glad you're going to bomb-free Glasgow!"

Erm, oh dear.

I feel like such a bad man but I want to ask those guys, uh, "did you forget the explosives?" I mean, just crashing a car into... well anyway. I don't want to give them ideas, but, you know, uh, maybe if you're hoping to take out a terminal in the VITALLY IMPORTANT GLASGIE AIRPORT you might want to, uh, actually, you know, blow it up or. Anyway. Never mind.

So. How are you there? We're all fine here, though we hear that there's some nasty shit juuuuust about to happen. Good on your intelligence services, though, keeping that shit from happening. Wish ours were that good.
