Moving is HARD

- companies that offer one-way van hire (e.g. pick-up in London, drop-off in Glasgow), and
- approximately how much fuel it would take to run a long wheel base van from London to Glasgow,
I would like you very much indeed. I've had a very, very kind offer from a friend (that would be you,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
typical) for moving assistance, but I've also had what seems to be a very cheap quote for professional movers (£295+VAT) and so I'm trying to figure out whether the savings of DIY moving would actually outweigh the convenience and lack of guilt of employing professionals.
